Taylor Lauren Davis’s work has appeared in Button Poetry, Poet Lore, Torch Literary Arts, Rust + Moth, and elsewhere. In 2019, Button Poetry named Davis the first runner up in its annual spoken word Video Contest.

Davis earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University and her Juris Doctor from University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Davis is an attorney based in Washington, D.C.
